Indications according to traditional Chinese medicine: Xiang Sha Liu Jun Zi Tang tonifies the spleen to resolve dampness, regulates qi to harmonise the stomach, and relieves pain. It is indicated for disharmony of the middle focus due to deficiency of the Spleen with accumulation of dampness, marked by: epigastric pain with a feeling of rapid satiety, lack of appetite, belching, loose stools or diarrhoea, sometimes vomiting, fatigue, pale tongue with a white coating, weak pulse.
